ROTARY CLUB OF MAROUBRA FUN RUN |
The 2011 Fun Run & Oktoberfest will be held on Sunday 23 October. Information for participants and stall holders is available at www.MaroubraFunRun.com.
All chamber members are entitled to a stall space as part of their annual membership / sponsorship contribution. This is usually a magnificent community occasion for families, friends, neighbours and visitors. Please contact our Secretary for further information on the stalls.
We were unlucky with the weather last year, but most of the Fun Run entrants were hardy souls who turned up and ran in the rain, and financially we were able to cover our costs of the day. South Coogee Public School won the our schools team prize - we were pleased to be able to make a donation of $960 to the South Coogee P&C Association. Our thanks go to our financial sponsors, to all those who gave their time to serve as registration and first-aid staff, and to all the volunteer race officials.
